How to get to Rothesay:

Caledonian MacBrayne operate regular ferry sailings from Wemyss Bay on the mainland to Rothesay. The journey takes 35 minutes. Weymss Bay has bus and train links to Greenock, Glasgow and beyond.

Caledonian MacBrayne also operate a ferry from Colintraive on the mainland to Rhubodach on Bute, which takes 5 minutes. Public transport links are limited in this area.
