Dunbritton Housing Association
We are a Registered Social Landlord, which means we rent houses to people in housing need and also own houses for sale under a Shared Ownership scheme. We are also a developer, building good quality houses for rent and shared equity.
We have a mix of housing stock including general needs houses and flats, larger family accomodation, properties suited to the elderly/residents with mobility problems (known as amenity) and wheelchair adapted houses and flats. We also own 19 houses containing 34 bed spaces, currently leased to various charities to provide support to adults with disabilities living in the community.
We currently factor over 410 properties including 66 jointly owned between the Association and our shared owner occupiers. In some of our areas, we also offer a factoring service to private landlords and owner occupiers.
In recent years we have developed a very successful working relationship with Community Links Scotland who have assisted us in providing help and funding to local communities to create an enhanced living environment implementing play areas, accessible pathways and youth outreach work to engage the youth in estates we own.
Our offices are based in Dumbarton and we have a staff of 23 and are run by a voluntary Management Board.
